OHS & IM Systems Auditing

OHS & IM AUDITS

Once an effective OHS and Injury Management System (AS 4804 & 4801 compliant) has been operating for three months, it is imperative that regular auditing be conducted to maintain the integrity of the system and data and continue the successful evolution of the system. We offer the convenience of regular review and assessment services to clients usually at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months point and then annually.  

Pricing is normally applied at current professional rates unless subject to service contracts with individual clients. We are also able to assist with data analysis if required. Our auditors are accredited with many years of experience, including national and international exposure.   

Premium Discount Scheme (NSW)

Once an OHS & IM System has been effectively operational and during the first six months of your Workers Compensation Policy Year, your company can apply to the relevant participating state for a premium reduction in your Workers Compensation Insurance under the incentive schemes. Compliance audits are required to assess your OHS & IM System as conditions and work requirements in all industries and businesses vary and no one system may satisfy.  

We are able to assess your OHS and Injury Management System according to the benchmarks set by WorkCover Authorities that the Discount Assessors will use when conducting such an audit.

Stress Management Systems

Specific analysis of working environments for development and implementation of a customised Stress Management System and program to identify signs and appropriate management protocols to assist in the prevention of stress claims in the workplace.  

Insurers around the world have identified 'Stress in the Workplace' as the most prominent escalating claims area. In Australia, whilst this hazard has been identified, little emphasis has been placed on preventative measures and programs.

We at Guardian offer Government along with the private sector, SMS's to proactively identify, assist in the prevention of and appropriately manage stress. Our systems involve the use of regular OH&S data, consultation, counselling, specific assistance options, international research, education and training; lateral and inventive Employee Assistance Programs (EAP's) to protect susceptible staff and those entrusted with high pressure and high-end responsibility portfolios. Our systems are constructed and supported by Occupational Psychologists.

Guardian systems utilise qualified workplace psychologists through our national service alliances.

Injury Management Services

Guardian offers clients professional and Quality Assured Injury Management Services through our 'quality assured' alliance providers and services are offered Nationally.

Our Injury Management consultants provide prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services. We are also proactive in the identification of preventative measures where possible and refer such information to our clients for assessment and implementation. We are also able to supply the necessary support services to maintain the principles of an effective OHS & IM system, being that of continuous improvement.

Accident Investigation Services

We offer clients the assistance of 27 years experience in the Investigation of Workplace and Public Liability accidents and claims specialising in Personal Injury Investigations for clients, Insurers, Brokers, Self Insurers, Specialist Underwriters, Government Departments and the legal fraternity in Australia.   We are able to assist your staff in Nationally recognised Training Courses through AQTF in respect of Accident Investigations and General Investigations and also provide a consultancy service in Investigations directly to clients where required.
