Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety BSB51604

The Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety BSB51604 is a formal national qualification under the Australian DEST/AQTF system designed for persons with historical risk & safety experience and safety professionals with established competency in occupational health & safety, wishing to continue their professional development.

The Certificate IV in OH&S BSB 41604 or the now superseded Certificate IV in Workplace Safety (12174NSW) are the pre-requisites to study this course.

The course is a formal qualification that should also be considered by safety personnel in high risk industries and also industries with a higher obligation to OH&S such as the construction, mining, gas and oil industries; senior statutory authority - workplace inspectors & investigators.   The course is an ideal ‘due diligence’ application for safety personnel in these industries, based on the current standards in Australia.
