Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104 provides an industry qualification and competency to deliver quality competency based training and assessment services to industry.

This nationally accredited training program is aimed at people who deliver or wish to deliver training and assessment services in the workplace or on a commercial basis. It is also a mandatory requirement for a person to deliver any part of the DEST / AQTF courses. The qualification is a formal nationally accredited qualification.

Effective training and assessment capability in workplace training is critical, not only to skill development and recognition, but also to recruitment, performance management, supervision and team leadership.

 

How Do I Gain the Qualification?

To gain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104 qualification candidates need to demonstrate competency in all of the following 12 Core Units and 2 Elective Units:-

Core Units

  • TAAENV401A Work effectively in vocational education and training
  • TAAENV402A Foster and promote an inclusive learning culture
  • TAAENV403A Ensure a healthy and safe learning environment
  • TAADES401A Use Training Packages to meet client needs
  • TAADES402A Design and develop learning programs
  • TAADEL401A Plan and organise group-based delivery
  • TAADEL404A Facilitate work-based learning
  • TAADEL403A Facilitate individual learning
  • TAAASS401A Plan and organise assessment
  • TAAASS402A Assess competence
  • TAAASS403A Develop assessment tools
  • TAAASS404A Participate in assessment validation

Elective Units

  • TAADEL402A Facilitate group-based learning
  • TAADEL405A Coordinate and facilitate distance-based learning
 

Delivery

Guardian OHS Systems & Training Group offers this nationally accredited course via a flexible training program of distance / on-line learning so as not to impede the participant’s professional business activities and/or employment commitments. RPL or direct credits are available for those participant’s that can evidence competency in any Units of the course, via prior experience or qualifications.  Face to Face delivery in a group/classroom environment is also available.

Cost: $2,100 ($150 per unit)

If your Application relates to RPL you will be required to also complete an RPL Application Form which we will send to you.
